Who We Are
VSA arts of Georgia, Inc. has been in the community for 45 years. We fiercely believe that regular access to arts and culture are essential to a life fully lived and that ALL the arts should be accessible to ALL the people ALL of the time.
Thank you for visiting. Feel free to explore.
We are putting together a project for May that brings together artists from all over the world to explore the concept of hidden disability.
As part of the project, the curator and artists will be blogging on the crafthaus website.
Help us document the History of Disability in Georgia.
VSA arts of Georgia is part of the Georgia Disability History Alliance.
As part of the work of the GDHA, we have been encouraging organizations and individuals to donate artifacts and to record verbal histories that can aid in documenting this valuable history. The University of Georgia’s Special Collections Libraries (Richard B. Russell Library for Political Research and Studies) will be preserving and housing the collections for future generations to learn from and enjoy.
Would you like to help? Can you answer YES! to any of these questions?
Then you may have items that could be valuable in documenting Georgia’s disability history. So how do you get started? Take a look a this document.
